Old Tucson Studios, Tucson, AZ
Old Tucson is an active movie studio and western theme park on the far west side of Tucson. Built in 1939, the Old West town has been the setting of more than 400 movies and television shows - including Arizona, Rio Bravo, El Dorado, Three Amigos, Bonanza, The Mark of Zorro, and Tombstone. Many of Old Tucson's most historic and iconic Western buildings, sets, props and wardrobe were lost in a fire on April 24, 1995. Much of the park was rebuilt, but never regained its prominence in production of the Western movie genre.
